This MBA level course is the core of XIME’s management education programmes. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India. XIME's first batch of PGDM graduates passed out in 1997.The Curriculum
Is revised once in two years in consultation with the industry, alumni, students and faculty.
‘Entrepreneurship’ is a core subject.
Business Ethics is a mandatory course.
There is a course each on Emotional Quotient (EQ) and ‘Leadership in Action’; these also include an external training’ component.
International Business Practices is a focus area.
One foreign language like German, French, or Japanese is compulsory.
Corporate internship is undertaken for ‘on-the-job training’.

Last date for receiving filled application is FEB 10, 2010 EligibilityCandidates for XIME’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results may also apply. They should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the programme until that time. They should also complete all their degree examinations before 21st June, 2010.Such candidates are also required to provide proof of passing the degree examination with the minimum required marks, latest by 30th September 2010. Admission Procedure1. Obtain XIME Application Form & Programme BrochureThe above may be obtained from XIME on payment of Rs.1000/- in cash or DD favouring ‘XIME,Bangalore’ payable at Bangalore. The Application forms can also be obtained from designated IMS learning centers or TIME centers. Alternatively, the application form can be downloaded from the XIME website www.xime.org. Downloaded form may be filled up and sent along with the registration fee of Rs.1000/- in the form of a DD favouring ‘XIME, Bangalore’. Issuing application form begins : October 15, 2009.2. Candidates also need to register and appear for XAT 2010 conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, on an all India basis at different centres on January 03, 2010.

Applicants desirous of joining XIME need to obtain the prescribed application form and register for admission.
They should have appeared for the XAT admission test conducted by XLRI.
CAT candidates are also considered.
Applicants should indicate the XAT/CAT score for the year in the application form (if received). If scores are not received at the time of filling up the application,a copy of the score card must be sent by email / post so as to reach XIME latest by February 10, 2010. Otherwise the application will not be considered. Otherwise the application will not be considered). Dates for Group Discussion / Interview : Between February 20, 2010 and March 07, 2010 (Exact dates will be intimated to short-listed candidates) PGDM Programme Commences : Monday, June 21, 2010 Fee Structure The programme fee (covering Admission, Tuition, Library, Computer Centre, Establishment,Text Books & Programme Materials, Examinations, Diploma, Activities and Alumni Association Membership and International tour) is to be paid in eight instalments as indicated below:First Year Rs. 3,00,000: Payable in four instalments (Rs. 75,000, 75,000, 75,000 and 75,000) Second year Rs. 3,00,000 : Payable in four instalments (Rs. 75,000, 75,000, 75,000 and 75,000) Dates for payment of fees will be announced at the beginning of the year. The cost of International tour is expected to be Rs. 1,00,000/- If the cost turned out to be less, the balance will be returned to the student. In the same way, if the the cost is more, the student has to bear it.Caution Deposit A one time caution deposit of Rs. 15,000 is payable at the time of admission, which is refundable at the end of the programme, after deducting dues to XIME, if any. Additional Charges Payable The Hostel Fees payable by each student will be approximately Rs. 5,500 per month which includes lodging, boarding, electricity and water charges.
Students are expected to stay in the hostels, unelss exempted / excluded for any special reasons. Laptop It is necessary for every student to possess a laptop PC. The institute will happy to arrange for the supply of the same, ensuring the required feature specifications of XIME. Alternatively the student himself can arrange for the same. The cost of the laptop is estimated to be about Rs.35,000. Note
Fees must be paid on time. Delayed payments will attract penalty.
Fees once paid are not refundable. Even in the case of a student’s failure / termination or withdrawal from the programme, no refund of fees will be made.
