Introduction: The AIMS Center for Admissions facilitates the admission process of the prospective students by offering them necessary counseling and career guidance to help them select the right programme and the professional assistance they require. AIMS Center for Admission conducts selection rounds for admissions from time to time during the year at the Campus as well as at different regional centers within the country and across the globe. The center and guides and helps students in processing their applications for the admission in the institute.

MISSION: The Admissions center at AIMS is committed to offer efficient and comprehensive service to all prospective students and to ensure a transparent and prompt admission process.

Admission Philosophy: An important trait of AIMS is to include culturally diverse student population. AIMS strongly believes that students from all over India as well as other countries, who represent a broad spectrum of diversified cultural and economic environments, develop communal harmony and add to rich learning experience. Hence, the selection process is carefully designed to take account of this aspect. Each applicant is objectively assessed by the selection committee, which is constituted of technical and HR experts, on the basis of his / her academic accomplishments, analytical, communication and presentation capabilities. All the applicants who make through the preliminary selection process are personally interviewed by the CEO before the final acceptance. Admissions are finalized only after completing all the formalities and submission of required documents.

Programmes:

(1) Master of Business Administration (MBA): was set up in the year 1998 with the broad objective to impart professional education & training in various aspects of modern management and provide them with opportunities to develop conceptual & analytical skills and foster attitudes essential for their development into competent and effective managers. It provides the perfect learning ambience to budding management professionals with the help well qualified and experienced faculty, internships and projects with the industry, industrial tours, opportunities in research and consultancy projects undertaken by the institution, exposure to guest speakers from the industry, participation in seminars, workshops and other events, intensive training in soft skills and so on.

Course Eligibility :
• A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages from a recognized university.

• Honours degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act having at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.

• Candidates who have passed bachelor / master degree through correspondence / Open University system from this university or from any other university recognized by law are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degrees must be 3 years 2 years respectively.

• Candidates who pass bachelor/master degree in any university system in single sitting pattern are not eligible.

• In case of SC/ST/Cat I candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained.

• Admission to the program will be effected through MBA PGCET or state approved admission test from time to time.

Duration of the Course :

• MBA is a two year course spread over four semesters. Each semester is for a period of five months.

• The first semester exposes students to the basics of management; the second semester introduces the different functional areas of management.

• The third and fourth semesters focuses on elective courses. The Program offers a wide choice to the students with functional /sectoral areas of specialization to choose from.

Approval :

The program has approval of Bangalore University and is also approved by AICTE. The MBA degree is awarded by Bangalore University
