Located in Bagalkot, P M Nadagowda Memorial (PMNM) Dental
College & Hospital is among the renowned medical colleges of Karnataka. The
college was established with the purpose of imparting high standards of dental
education in the state. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of Health and
Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI), P
M Nadagouda Memorial Dental College and Hospital offers education in dentistry
at multiple levels.
P M Nadagowda Memorial Dental College and Hospital commenced
its functioning in the year 1987. Over the years, the college has produced some
of the best dental doctors for the state. P.M.N.M Dental College is run and
operated under the guidance of Shri Basaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha. The
Para-medical courses offered by the college are recognized by Para-medical
board of Karnataka Government.
BDS Course:
Age Requirement: The candidate shall have completed the age
of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31 st
December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.
Eligibility:
In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination,
a candidate for admission to BDS Course must have passed (10+2 or equivalent
examination) individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology
with 50% of marks taken together and passing marks in English. In respect of
candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes 40% instead of 50%. The
candidate must have to appear either CET or Comed-k Exams for seeking
admission.
MDS Course:
Eligibility:
A candidate for admission to MDS Course must have recognized
degree of BDS awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognized Dental
College. The candidate must have to appear either CET or Comed-k Exams for
seeking admission.
Post Graduate:
The admission of the candidates is done through the
merit-list prepared according to their performance in the entrance test.
