Nashik District
Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Medical College or MVPS Medical College and
Hospital is located in Adgaon, Nashik district of Maharashtra. The institute
was set up in 1989 by Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj. The institute is affiliated
to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and it is approved by the
Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.
MVPS Medical College and Hospital is spread across 52 acres
of land. The college works with a vision of imparting quality education in the
field of medical sciences and contributing in the all round development of the
young aspirants. The hospital attached to the campus has the capacity of
well-equipped 750 beds. Currently, Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak
Samaj’s Medical College offers an undergraduate course, which is of four and a
half year’s duration plus one year of internship.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The person applying for the course must be passed in Higher
Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with Biology,
Physics & Chemistry and English as compulsory subjects, from a recognized
Board. He/she should have scored at least 50% marks in the aforementioned
subjects.
Postgraduate:
The Candidate should have completed his MBBS Course from an
recognized University.
Admission Procedure:
Post Graduate Diploma Courses:
The Candidate should have completed his MBBS Course from an
recognized University.
MBBS with good marks in Maharashtra CET.
The selection of the candidates is based on the marks
obtained by them in ASSO – CET. Admissions are done as per the guidelines of
the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges,
(AMUPMDC) Maharashtra.
