The CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) was established in 2000 and it is a private engineering college located in Bangalore, India. CMRIT is an Technical institution affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Arepresentation of knowledge and learning the logo draws its inspiration from the Hansa, the Swan-a bird which is the carrier of the Goddess Saraswati – the Goddess of Learning.
