GD Goenka World Institute
was established in 2009. It is a partnership between the GD Goenka Group and Lancaster
University.
The Institute offers Lancaster University qualifications in
India, either through completion of the entire program in Sohna or through
transfer to Lancaster University in the UK for the final year of studies.
The Institute campus spans over 60 acres of superbly
landscaped area at Aravali foothills comprising 9 Buildings interspersed.
Mission is to create opportunities for exceptional
individuals to develop personal and leadership skills to the fullest possible
extent.
GD Goenka World Institute have invested substantially in
recruiting highly-qualified faculty and support staff and through the provision
of exceptional facilities including a well-resourced library (with electronic
access to Lancaster's library in the UK), regularly-updated teaching spaces (classrooms,
lecture theatres and laboratories) and first-rate recreational and sporting
amenities.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
- The students are selected on the basis of performance in:
- Undergraduate degree programs (BCom, BBA, BSc, BE etc.)
- GDGWI's entrance examination (Applicants who have successfully completed CAT, GMAT, MAT may be exempt from taking the entrance exam)
- Personal/Group Interview
- Normally, applicants are expected to have minimum 60% average marks in their undergraduate degree.
