The journey of East Point began with East Point School at Kalyan Nagar in Bangalore, which was founded in the year 1998 by MG Charitable Trust. In the year 1999, East Point Group of Institutions was formally established with the addition of East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore.
Under the leadership of Sri S. M. Venkatpathi, a successful entrepreneur and a passionate philanthropist, East Point has gone from strength to strength to become one of the preferred colleges in Bangalore.
Presently, there are eight institutions under East Point Group of Institutions, offering education to a total of over 6000 students. Now, after over 13 successful years, East Point continues to deliver what we call 'Education with a heart'.

Admission Details
Candidates seeking admission to the first year BE Course should have passed the two years of PUC Examinations (with Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as Optional Subjects) conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Visweshvaraya Technological University and should have obtained not less than 45% of marks in the optional subjects.
