AIMS offers the AIMS Test for Management Admissions ATMA as a credible, comprehensive and single-window test for admissions to different postgraduate management programmes.

ATMA has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India for admission on All India Basis to the MBA / PGDM and other Postgraduate Programmes like MCA.

AIMS organizes "AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA)" a standard test for admission to postgraduate management programs.

ATMA has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India for admission on All India Basis to the MBA / PGDM and other Postgraduate Programmes like MCA.

The first test was conducted on Sunday, February 20, 2000 and then on January 21, 2001, May 20, 2001, February 10, 2002, February 9, 2003, February 8, 2004, May 23, 2004, February 6, 2005, February 12, 2006, February 11, 2007 and February 10, 2008. The next ATMA, the twelveth in the series will be held on Sunday February 14, 2010.

We have successfully introduced the Online Registration of ATMA Application Forms in 2009.

Timings: 1.30 PM to 5.00 PM

ATMA 2010 Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Students appearing for their final year examinations in 2009 are also eligible to apply.

ATMA TExam 2010 Test Pattern

The test Contains 170 Questions spread over Six Sections. Each Section is timed separately. Total time of the Test is 3 hours. The questions cover Analytical Reasoning Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Verbal skills.

a) Each multiple- choice question is followed by four answers numbered 1,2,3 and 4. You have to choose the correct or best answer from these four choices and then darken the corresponding oval in the answer sheet

b) The questions in this Test are numbered serially starting at 1 and ending at 170. Start answering from the first question of each section and proceed serially.

c) Clear familiarity with the directions and questions is necessary. It is important to read the directions for each set of questions carefully.

d) In case you find a mistake in the framing of the question or the answer-choices given or both, you need not waste your time on them. You will be given credit for any such question.

e) Time should be allotted wisely within the limits given. On an average, there will be about one minute available for each question in verbal skills, and just one minute in each question in Analytical Reasoning Skills, and Quantitative Skills.

f) ATMA has been designed as a standard, benchmark Test with high quality and academic rigour. ATMA scores are useful in determining a candidate's relative position in the whole test population. A candidate is not expected to answer all questions, within the specified time frame. You are advised to proceed through the Test at an even pace, skipping the more difficult questions, wherever necessary. You can return to the unanswered questions later, within the time specified for each section. If you wish to review your answers in a section, you can do so only in that section within the time limit. You cannot answer any other section(s) or read any other sections(s), backward or forward, as the case may be. Any violation of this rule will result in disciplinary action and even cancellation of your result.

g) All the necessary instructions and guidelines will be given in the Test Booklet itself.

How to apply online for taking ATMA?

ATMA 2010 Application Form contains the following:

1. Bulletin with information about ATMA.

2. An adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover.

* When you purchase ATMA 2010 Forms, you will be given a receipt by the sales centre. The same is required to be submitted to the invigilator at the time of examination along with the admit card.

* Inside the admission kit, there will be self adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the ATMA Bulletin front cover. For applying online, candidates should log on to ATMA website www.atma-aims.org. The specimen online application form for ATMA with duly filled in data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the Annexure II of the bulletin. Please read it carefully before filling in the online application form which is provided on the website. Please download a copy of the filled up ATMA 2010 Online Application for your reference.

* Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the Form.

ATMA 2010 Admit Cards:

Candidates are requested to down load their admit cards on February 08, 2010 onward from the ATMA website www.atma-aims.org. by entering the personal ID Code & Date of birth.
