MSRIT Bangalore Admission - 2015

ADMISSION THROUGH MANAGEMENT & NRI QUOTA
As one of India’s leading names in higher education, MSRIT offers a host of under graduate and post graduate programmes in various streams and specializations. This section provides an understanding of the courses available, the eligibility criteria for each of them and all other details necessary for admission.

Eligibility   for B.E.: (4 year Bachelor Degree)

The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology.  In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

 Eligibility   for B.Arch:  (5 year Bachelor Degree)

The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory, English as one of the language and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all the subjects in qualifying examination 45% of marks in case of a candidate belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes(Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), and should compulsorily appear for NATA [National Aptitude Test in Architecture] and get a minimum of 40% in it (including SC, ST and Other Backward Classes).

 POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS:


Masters of Business Administration(MBA) 

We offer a 2-year MBA program, open to candidates who have passed a 3-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% i.e integer (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination. However, in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, the aggregate percent of the marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45%. i.e integer (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) Entrance exam eligibility:  C-MAT


Master of Computer Applications (MCA) 

We offer a 3-year program, open to candidates who have passed a 3-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% i.e integer (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination, with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects/ electives at degree level. This provided that the candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first proviso in the Pre University Course with 50% of marks in that subject will also be considered for admission. In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, 45% of the marks in that subject will be considered for admission.
Entrance exam eligibility:  K-MAT / PGCET.


Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Programs  MSRIT offers the following 2-year M.Tech / M.Arch programs for which candidates with a B.E/ B.Tech./ B.Arch. degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, 45% of the marks in that subject will be considered for admission.
