Dental College & Hospital was established in 1991. The College is
affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and
Recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi. Spread over 7 acres of
verdant landscape owned wholly by SGR Technical and Educational Society.

- The College Hospital boast of excellent infrastructure with all the modern hi-tech equipments, well-equipped laboratories, High-tech clinical labs with an Out patient department catering to more than 100 patients per day using the most advanced diagnostic aids at subsidised costs,
- An exhaustive Central digital library of over 12,000 sq.ft. with over 500 books with all the necessary books & journals which are regularly updated. The college subscribes to over 48 Indian and International journals.
- Students are often given the opportunity to work side by side with their faculty members. This allows them greater exposure to clinical procedures by practicing their skills at the hospital as well conducting free dental camps for people in rural areas.
- Hostel facilities for male and female students are provided with all necessary facilities which also includes a nice palette of South Indian and North Indian food.
