Mahatma Gandhi Mission's (MGM's) College of Engineering, Nanded, Maharashtra

Nanded, second largest city in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State. The City is at southeastern part of the state and nearest to Andhra Pradesh Border. The city is one of the best educational center that offers degree program in engineering, medical and other human sciences. Nanded is situated 650 kms away from Mumbai and 270 kms from Hyderabad. It has also direct rail connectivity to Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Banglore and several other cities.

Nanded has a uniqueness of its own due to its historical, social and political importance. The tenth Guru of Sikkhs, Shri Guru Gobind Singhji held his court and congregation here. In his memory, there is a famous Gurudwara at Nanded which is one of the most worshiped and important places for Sikkhs, second to Amritsar.

As we enter the campus, we are greeted with a huge sports complex with lush green ground. A walk around this ground will lead to the statue of the Father of Nation- Mahatma Gandhi. One can find an inner peacefulness and serenity here.Then comes the fabulous building which is a real eye-catcher which you start keeping in your sight right from the moment you enter in the campus. Facade is a well decorated lawn and flag pole. Every Independence day and Republic day, flag hoisting ceremony is held here and the students and the staff all gather here in tribute to patriotism.

College was inaugurated in 1991 by Shri. Sharad Pawar, the then chief minister of the state of Maharashtra.Beautiful fountain welcomes you as you enter in to the building. A beautiful garden within the building will leave you breathless as you try and take in as much of this wonderful place as you can. Lush greenery and a variety of plants of a number of different species lie abundant everywhere in the campus. Being away from the hubbubs of the city, the calm and quiet atmosphere of the institute offers healthy and enthusiastic environment for learning.
