BVCOEWBharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering for women was established in June 2000. Subsequently, we got recognition from AICTE, which is the statutory body controlling technical education in India, and the Government of Maharashtra. This is, in a way, an acknowledgement of the excellent educational facilities and modern infrastructure provided in our college. We have affiliation of the University of Pune, which has stringent measures of evaluation.

Our faculty includes experienced dedicated and highly qualified teachers. In keeping with the latest educational technology, we modify the mode of classroom teaching, where traditional face-to-face methods are replaced by modern teaching aids. We have also started a unique approach of preparing educational CDs, for conceptually difficult subjects. Weak students could help themselves by referring to these CDs from our library.

In a professional education system, it is very essential that teaching has a strong backup of research. Keeping this in view, we encourage our teaching staff to undertake research activities and to contribute their mite to the development of their subjects.

Besides the full time highly experienced staff, our college has the support and co-operation of visiting faculty members, who are qualified engineers, business executives, management consultants, practicing managers and eminent guest speakers. We also enjoy a close and healthy interaction with reputed industrial research and development organizations at Pune.

Our college is housed in a well designed building with the state-of-art laboratories, workshop and computing facilities. There is an extensive range of equipment and facilities, supporting the activities of technical graduates. The facilities are an advanced computer center, fully networked computer laboratories and well equipped hardware laboratory to support the maintenance and development of specialized equipment.
