Eligibility and Admissions:
- The eligibility for admission to Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College is as follows:
- Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Candidates of minority status should have Tulu speaking certificate from appropriate authorities.
- Candidates from outside Karnataka State must get eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

Admission Details:
- A candidate must have passed P.U.C. II year or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by RGUHS securing at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and 50% marks in either of the Entrance Test that includes:
- Common Entrance Test (CET)
- All India Entrance Test (AIET)
- Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority (KRLM)
- Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
