Council of India, New Delhi. The college was affiliated to Bangalore University
till the year 2008-09.

women imparting legal education. It also offers 3 years LL.B course for the
graduates.
Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College is managed by
the Board of Management of Karnataka Central Diocese, Church of South India.
The Bishop in Karnataka Central Diocese of the Church of South India is the
Chairman of the Board. Mrs. A. P. Porkodi is the first and current Principal.

Admission Criteria:
10+2 with 45% marks (for SC/ST 40% marks). Students between
the age of 17 and 22 are admitted into the 5 years B.A LL.B Course. Candidates
with 80% marks or more in the qualifying examination will be admitted on the
spot. For others, the admission is on the basis of the candidate’s performance
in the oral interview wherein the candidate’s vocabulary, communication skills,
smartness, shrewdness and presence of mind would be assessed.
Copies of the
following documents should be sent along with the application.
- Proof of age
- Community Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Church affiliation Certificate (If Christian)
- Transfer Certificate (from the Institution last studied)
- Statement of Marks in the qualifying examination.
- Migration Certificate (If the candidate is from other State or Country)
- 5 Passport Size Photographs (one should be affixed in the application)
- 3 Self addressed envelopes with Rs 10/- Stamp
