MS Ramaiah College of
Pharmacy (MSRCP), Bangalore was founded in 1992.
This college is today one
of the best pharmacy institutions in the country, in terms of laboratory
facilities and faculty, the college has been identified as model institution
for quality and standards.
The institution has 12 undergraduate, 8 diploma and 8 post graduate laboratories for the four departments. Besides academics, a lot of importance has been given to extra-curricular activities of the students for which several cultural and welfare committees are constituted involving the students and staff members. The institution takes special care in monitoring the performance and the progress of every student.

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm):
Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) is a post-graduate academic
degree in the field of pharmacy. Since pharmaceutical industry is growing at a
rapid pace, more and more colleges are coming up as standalone institutes for
higher education in the field of pharmacy.
Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Stands for Master of
Pharmacy. Master of Pharmacy is a two years course. Master of Pharmacy mainly
deals with preparing, distributing as well as providing advice on appropriate
usage of medication for achieving optimal outcomes. Subjects studied under
pharmacy are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry,
Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering.

Eligibility to M.Pharm course:
- A candidate who has passed B.Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, or B.Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University established by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS or Pharmacy Council of India or All India Council of Technical education (A.I.C.T.E) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years) prescribed for the qualification examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M.Pharm.
- Further Pharmacy teachers having recognized B.Pharm qualification and with minimum of 5years of teaching experience in an institution approved by A.I.C.T.E and P.C.I will be eligible provided they have scored not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years).
- For SC/ST/Karnataka category I candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks in the qualifying examination.

- The Candidate who has passed B.Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or B.Pharm examination of any other recognized Indian University. who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years) prescribed for the qualification examination.
- Selection will be based as per the university norms.
