College of Dental
Sciences Davangere is a private dental college that was come into existence in the year
1991.
The college is started by Bapuji Educational Association. The college is belongs to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is certified to the Dental Council of India (DCI).
The college has contributed a lot in the field of dentistry
by generating large numbers of well qualified dentists.
The college is one of the two premier dental colleges under the umbrella of Bapuji Educational Association.
The college offers under graduate course of BDS, which is
five years full time course. The course also includes internship program for
the duration of one year. The college also stresses on post graduate course of
MDS. MDS is a three years full time course.
Eligibility:
A candidate for admission to the M.D.S. Course (Master of
Dental Surgery) should have a Degree of B.D.S. from associate degree Indian
University recognized by Dental Council of India.
Admission Criteria:
A candidate interested in taking admission to the M.D.S. Course (Master of
Dental Surgery) should have passed B.D.S. course from a Dental College recognized
by the Dental Council of India and should have completed one year of Internship
as on 31st of August of the respective year. In case of international students
applying for M.D.S. course, their undergraduate degree and the University
should be recognized by the Dental Council of India. The duration of the course
is three years. The academic term for the M.D.S. courses will commence from
31st of May of every year.
