MD MS Admission Procedure in DY Patil Pune

Padmashree Dr.D.Y.Patil Medical College, Pune was founded in the year 1996.

The college received approval of the medical council of India (MCI) for the award of MBBS degree for its very first batch.

The International Recognition will enable our Medical College students to be appointed as Government Doctors in Malaysia, a unique opportunity to have international exposure in the field of Medicine.

The college has been accorded the status of Deemed-to-be-University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India on recommendation of the University Grants Commission (UGC) within a period of just six and a half years of establishment perhaps the shortest period of such recognition.

The College conducts Postgraduate Degree and Diploma Courses with annual intake of 145 in the following 19 subjects : General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, ENT (Oto Rhino Laryngology), General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Pulmonary Medicine, Skin & Venereal Diseases, Pathology, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.

Eligibility:

• Student must pass degree of M.B.B.S from an recognized University.
• The student should have completed such period of post examination or rotating intrenship.

Admission Process:

• Candidate should obtain 50% or more marks at AIPGMET  to qualify for admission.
• The provisional selection for the General Seats in the Post Graduate Courses will be done on the basis of merit in All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET).
• When all the Seats in a given Course are filled admission of students to that Course will instantaneously cease and Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth Pune will not be responsible for non-availability of seats and non allotment of seats to rest of the candidates.

• Internship Completion Certificate
• Registration Certificate (MCI/State MC)
• Age and Nationality Certificate
• Bonafide Certificate from Dean
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Proof of Date of Birth
• Two recent photographs taken from same negative without cap or goggles taken within last six months. One should be pasted on the application form duly attested by the Principal/Dean of the College or any Gazetted Officer. The other should be stapled to the application form.
