PGDM Admission Criteria in SIMS Pune

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune was started in the year 1993.

In 2002, the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India conferred on Symbiosis, the status of deemed to be University.

It is an ISO 9001:2008 quality certified management institute and a top-tier provider of business education across the spectrum.

It has over 45,000 students who hail from all states of India and from 85 different countries.

The institute is a constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis International Deemed University and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (of the UGC) in November 2008.

Eligibility

A Candidate should be a graduate from a statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Students appearing in their final year degree examination can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks overall at a qualifying exam. 

Admission Process:

DTE conducts MH-CET examination and allotment of the seats through Centralized Admission Process. 20% of the seats which is management quota are filled at institute level in which candidates with any of the above exams are eligible.

• Certificate of Indian Nationality in the name of the Candidate
• The School leaving Certificate indicating the Nationality of the candidate as 'Indian' or
• Indian Passport in the name of the candidate issued by appropriate authorities or
• Birth Certificate of the Candidate indicating the place of birth in India
• Statement of marks of HSC and SSC
• Statement of marks of all years of for the Bachelor's Degree Examination (i.e. the qualifying Degree examination) in case the candidate has passed the bachelor's degree examination.

• Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate (if applicable)
• Non Creamy Layer Certificate
• Domicile Certificate State & National
