Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Bangalore was commenced in the year
1986.
The institute is located in Balagangadharanatha Nagar (B.G.Nagar) along NH 48, 107 KM from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka State.
The institute is associated to Medical Council of India (MCI) and General Medical Council of UK and
affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore,
Karnataka.

- Candidates eligible for this course must have a graduation degree from any recognized university in India.
- Selection is based on the entrance exam held by the university.

- Final MBBS Marks Cards (Part-1, Part-2).
- Internship Completion Certificate.
- Concerned State Medical Registration Certificate.
- Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate.
- Attempt Certificate.
- 10th or Equivalent Examination Marks card for age proof.
- Migration / Transfer Certificate.
- Eligibility Certificate for Other University Candidates which will be issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
