Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH)
was founded in the year 2006, to provide technical education to
young citizens.
The institute is situated along Pondicherry – Villupuram
national highway (NH:45A) at Kalitheerthalkuppam, Madagadipet, 20 km west of
Pondicherry and 18 km east of Villupuram.
This Institution is approved by the Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and is belongs to the Pondicherry University.

Course Duration – 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years +
Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)
The M.B.B.S Course is governed by the regulations of the
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The duration of the
course is four and half years (9 terms, each of 6 month duration) of academic
Study and one year of internship.
