MBBS Admission in AVMC Bangalore

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College is situated in Puducherry, Pondicherry. It was instituted in the year 2000 and is managed under Vinayaka Missions, a charitable Trust, since its establishment.

The institute offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of 5½ years duration, including the 1 year of internship period.

The institute is fully equipped with all basic infrastructural facilities and provides full exposure to its students, so they can develop their key skills and gain practical knowledge.

The college is associated to Pondicherry University and recognized by the state government. The college is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.

Eligibility for MBBS
Age Limit:
Candidates must have passed intermediate or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the PCB group. 40% in the case of SC / ST. Applicants must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission. 

Selection of Students:  Merit basis: -
• Candidate must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and competitive examinations.
• For Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (OBC) the marks obtained are read as 40% instead of 50% Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination shall obtain an eligibility ce
• Cut – Off Date for Admission for I Year MBBS Course is 30th September every year.
