Christ University is a private deemed to be university in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1969, it is managed by the priests of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous Syrian Catholic religious congregation in India. The college was granted deemed to be university status in 2008.The university offers a range of nationally and internationally recognized undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a variety of academic disciplines including Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences. In addition, it offers professional courses in a number of fields including Business Management, Computer Application, Hotel Management, Mass Communication, Social Work, Engineering and Tourism.
Christ College was recognized by the University Grants Commission of India, (UGC) on 17th June, 1972. It was accredited by the NAAC, a UGC-funded body, in 1998 and reaccredited in 2005. Christ College has the distinction of being the first college in the state of Karnataka to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), for quality education. It is currently rated an A+ institution by the NAAC and was recognized as a College with Potential for Excellence.

Candidates seeking for MBA Programmes in Christ University have to appear CAT/MAT Entrance Exam, after that apply online through the university's official website www.christuniversity.in
Eligibility Criteria
For MBA Christ University (Kengeri and Main Campus) and 2) MBA + MS Business (VCU, USA)
- A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2013 and December 2013 OR 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) AND
- 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far).
- Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2014 are also eligible to apply.
For PGDM+MBA (FHWS, Germany)
- A composite score of 500 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2013 and December 2013 OR 60 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) with one year work experience (Full Time / Part Time / Family Business also considered). AND
- 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far).
- Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2014 are also eligible to apply.
Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process
