Nashik District Maratha Vidhya Prasarak (NDMVP) Samaj is a 85 years old renowned Educational Institute in the State of Maharashtra. It is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act and Manages 237 Educational Institutions and is one of the premier educational institutions in the jurisdiction of University of Pune. At present the total strength of the students in the 237 branches are more than 1,26,160. Inspired by the life and work of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati of Kolhapur, the young and devoted team of social workers and educationist Karmaveer Raosaheb Thorat, Bhausaheb Hirey, Ganapatrao More, Kirtiwanrao Nimbalkar, D. R. Bhonsal, Vothoba Patil-Khandalaskar laidthe foundation of NDMVP Samaj. The motto of Samaj is, "For the well being and happiness of the common masses", Today NDMVP Samaj manages Primary School to more professional courses like MBA & MCM under the jurisdiction of University of Pune. The Samaj has strived to make the education available to the society at large and thereby uplifting the standard of Education in society.

The NDMVP Samaj's College of Engineering was established in 1999 having 11 acres area in the heart of the Nashik city .

The College is affiliated to Pune University and approved by AICTE,New Delhi.

The College has well equipped laboratories ,workshop and Hostel facilities. Every department has separate computational facilities along with LAN , internet and necessary Softwares. At present the college provides four year courses leading to Bachelor's Degree of University of Pune in the following disciplines : Computer Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Civil Engineering , Instrumentation and Control Engineering , Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering , Information Technology , Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration.
