(1) MBA : The ever expanding Mahavir Group has added another glowing feather to its cap by starting the MBA programme. The growing demand for high skilled and well-rounded personnel in today's competitive environment has opened ample opportunities for the young graduates equipped with managerial skills and accomplishments. The Mahavir Group through its MIET School of Business Management, has launched the MBA programme as its social responsibility to hone, train and polish the skills of the graduates to meet the ambitious expectations of the global corporate environment. The MGI touch to the degree infuses the confidence and the daring in the graduates even to set up their own consultancies and businesses.
The MIET School of Business Management aims at imparting the course as per the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), though with a practical touch.

The case way of mastering
The rigourous assignments and case study analyses encourage the students in mastering the concepts in depth so as to apply the same in real life situations. The case study analysis is carried out in the 1st. year of MBA itself, so as to give them more time to develop better understanding and insight. For instance, cases like Paritosh Jain Vs. Aggarwal Packers & Movers under Consumer Protection Act, 1986, Financial Statement Analysis of Infosys Ltd. (2008-09), Market capture by 'Nano', Comparision of the marketing strategies of Surf Excel (HLL) and Nirma (Nirma Chemicals), Ills of Corporate Governance- The Satyam Episode--- and such other cases have been undertaken by the present batch of students.

(2) Master of Computer Applications(MCA): is a three-year (six semester) professional Master's Degree in computer science awarded in India. The course was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology (computer software). It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree.
The MCA program focuses on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas. It is intended to provide a modern, industry oriented education in applied computer science. It aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of the information technology industry.
Typically, an MCA is a full-time degree course with a duration of three years (six semesters). It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc.
Domestic demand for IT in India is witnessing a gradual transformation from being predominantly hardware driven growing emphasisi on services. If fact, revenue growth in the sevices segment alone has reported faster growth than that for all overall domestic IT market (including Harware, Software, and services) over the past few years. This trend is expected to continue and create many jobs in the segment.
