Shri Shivaji Maratha Society Law College Pune was commenced in the year 1921 under the table guidance of his Highness Chhatrapati Shrimant Late Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur Sansthan.

The college is affiliated to University of Pune, Pune. Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

Eligibility at Shri Shivaji Maratha Society Law College Pune

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Minimum 40% marks for candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. & 45% marks for others or Equivalent from any recognized board. Selection will be based as university Norms.

The admission to the college course will be subject to the following:

• No students shall be allowed to keep terms for two different courses, simultaneously in the same academic year. However, the students shall be allowed to keep terms for one degree and one diploma or one certificate course simultaneously in the same academic year and to appear for the examination for said course in the same examination session of the university. However , no students shall be entitled to claim any change in the university examination programmed or any other concession on the ground that examination of the said two courses are held at the same time or any other grounds.
• Students seeking admission to the first year of 5 year law course may note that in case keep compartments at their HSC examination they will not be granted admission to the said course and those who have taken provisional admission the same would stand canceled.
• Admission must be taken in person, by presenting the prescribed application form of the college duly filled in and on the payment of fees in one installment.
• All admissions will be provisional and subject to confirmation by the Principle and approval by the university.
