Symbiosis School of
Banking and Finance (SSBF), Pune was
set up in the year 2010.
The institute has also received the Award for Leadership and Corporate Integration in 2013 under the 6th DNA Stars of Industry.
The institute is one of the newer institutes among
the 29 constituents of Symbiosis International University.
The institute was started to address the growing demand for
trained workforce in the Banking and Financial Services Sector. Given that a
strong and resilient banking system is critical for fuelling and sustaining
growth, the importance of having industry-ready manpower cannot be
over-emphasized.
The institute was adjudged as the Best Emerging Business
School by Bloomberg/UTV Excellence Award held on 18th February, 2012 at Mumbai.
The institute has been proactive in understanding the needs
of the market and providing trained manpower, thus contributing to the growth
and development of the country. Given that a strong and resilient banking

This program - MBA (Banking & Finance) has been designed
to provide the necessary education and skill-sets to equip students to
innovate, manage, lead and take on the challenges of this increasingly complex
and dynamic sector.
Eligibility:
Graduates from a recognized Institute/University with at
least 50% marks in any discipline are eligible to apply for the MBA program.
Candidates appearing for final year examination can also apply; however, they
should obtain minimum 50% marks in their qualifying examination. SC/ST
candidates should score 45% marks in graduation to apply for this program.
International candidates can apply through Symbiosis Centre for International
Education.
Admission Procedure:
Admission of the selected candidates into MBA program is
made on the basis of merit in the SNAP Test, followed by Group Discussion and
Personal Interview.
