Nargund College of
Pharmacy, Bangalore was founded in the year 1999. The college is affiliated
to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
The College has been successful in providing and maintaining high quality in Teaching and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The College has their own spectacular buildings with spacious well equipped Sophisticated Laboratories, class rooms and other facilities as per the norms and standards of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional
roles such as compounding and dispensing medications and also includes more
modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing
medications for safety and efficacy and providing drug information.

Nargund College of Pharmacy provides placement assistance to
all its students. The dedicated

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm):
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) is a post-graduate academic
degree in the field of pharmacy. Since pharmaceutical industry is growing at a
rapid pace, more and more colleges are coming up as standalone institutes for
higher education in the field of pharmacy.
The college offers two years long Mater of Pharmacy course.
This course concentrates at detailed knowledge of all the aspects of pharmacy.
Objective of the course is to create qualified professionals in the field of
pharmacy with superb professional and technical knowledge. The course
curriculum includes practical as well as theoretical knowledge of the subject.

Eligibility:
A candidate who has passed B.Pharm degree examination of
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, of B.Pharm examination of any other
recognized Indian University established by law in India or any other degree
courses in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and/or All India
Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E) for this purpose and who has secured
not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed of
the qualification examination shall be eligible of the admission to the M.Pharm
course.
Admission Criteria:
The requirement for admission is a B.Pharm from any recognized
university of India with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate of 4 years).
Selection will be based as per the university norms.
Number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified
candidates separately [AIEEE/CET (State conducted test/University tests)/
Association conducted test.
