MS Ramaiah Dental
College, Bangalore was founded in 1991 as a centre of excellence in the
field of Medical education by training students to be professionals of global
standards in the field of medicine, with a deep sense of social commitment,
ethical values and high standards, through continual improvement of services,
systems and processes.
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with an intake of 60 students per year for undergraduate course and post graduate courses in all 9 specialities with the intake ranging between 2 and 6 per year.
As a affiliated college of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI), MSRDC complies to the curricular requirements of both these regulatory bodies.
It has started certificate programs in Esthetic Dentistry and
Oral Implant logy. It is also a recognized PhD center for Oral and
Maxillofacial surgery and waiting for inspection to Department of Conservative
Dentistry.
The main goal of the college is to create a conductive
environment to stimulate learning the effect of which is measurable by
performance in the examinations, to encourage self learning and problem based
learning, by stimulating community adoption, which is monitored by improvements
in the community and to start a strong alumni base all over the world.

The college is located in an extensive campus of 65 acres,
located just 7 kms from Bangalore city. Main college building is a spacious
