FLAME (Foundation for
Liberal and Management Education), Pune was set up in the year 2004,
spreading on 75 acres of green expanse.
Aims To encourage students to challenge the status quo and to create a spirit of inquiry, to generate free exchange of thoughts and ideas and to provide the resources to explore.
The concept of an undergraduate School of Liberal Education offering undergraduate programs in a host of subjects from Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, Creative Arts, and applied areas; a School of Business offering a PGDM in Management, a School of Communication offering PGDM in Mass Media.
The institute mission is to create a thirst and to provide
an environment that encourages the assimilation, dissemination, and generation
of new ideas and understanding.
The institute Performing Arts and a Center for
Organizational Growth and Excellence offering Management Development Programs
for the industry emerged after discussions on the lacunae in the current
education system with intellectuals, students and heads of educational
institution.
ELIGIBILITY:
- The minimum eligibility to apply to FLAME School of Business is the following:
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university / institution recognized by the UGC or equivalent bodies with a minimum score of 50% aggregate. Candidates in their final year can also apply provided they can produce the final year degree certificate / mark sheet before 30th September.
- Test scores in any of the following national level tests conducted in the current year – *CAT (conducted by IIMs), XAT, MAT, CMAT or GMAT.
- Students passing from any university / institution with distance mode of learning do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

- The goal of our assessment process is to select best performing and well-rounded applicants who can contribute and enhance the learning experience at FLAME. We have an internal assessment process which considers the following aspects of your application:
- Admission Test Scores
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
- Past Academic Record
- Work Experience
- Extracurricular activities/ achievements
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
