Chettinad Hospital
& Research Institute (CHRI), Kanchipuram was started in the year 2006
by the prestigious Rajah Sir Muthiah Chettiar Charitable & Educational
Trust.

,Tamil Nadu. The College is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI),
New Delhi.
For getting admission into MBBS course in this institute the
students have to qualify Common Entrance Test conducted by Chettinad Academy of
Research and Education. The selection of the students is done based on the
ranks obtained in the all India Entrance Examination.
Eligibility-
Candidate must have passed M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. / B.Sc. (Allied
Health Sciences) / B.Sc. (Life Sciences / Biosciences) / B.Sc. Botany with
Ancillary Zoology / B.Sc. (Biotechnology / Microbiology) / Bachelor of
Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) / Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T.) / Bachelor
of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) / Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology /
B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Physician's Assistant (or)Candidate must have any
graduate degree in Medical / Health Science awarded by a recognized University
with a minimum of 55% marks
Admission Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on merit & personal
interview.
