Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), Tamil Nadu was come into existence in the year 2006.

The select ion of students to the Medical College shall be based soley on the merit.All candidates should appear for the common Entrance Examination for the management Quota conducted by the Tamil Nadu Private Medical College Association & the Rank list will be prepared based on the following factors

a) Common Medical Entrance Test Conducted by the Tamil Nadu Private Medical College Association

b) Personal Interview and Aptitude Test
