School of Management
for Infrastructure and Development Studies (STEM), Bangalore was founded on
July 1, 2005.
The institute Society functions under the overall guidance of a Management Council comprising a full-time President/ Executive Director and Directors, all experienced professionals.
The institute has mentored five batches of Post Graduate
Diploma in Infrastructure Management (PGDIM) and three batches of MBA
(Infrastructure Management), on behalf of Karnataka’s prestigious Visvesvaraya
Technological University (VTU).
The institute day-to-day work is co-ordinateded by a
Managing Director who reports to the President/ Executive Director. The MD is
assisted by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director - Projects in all
matters relating to Research, Consultancy & Training. In addition to a
multi-disciplinary Core Team, STEM has project-specific personnel comprising
specialist central & zonal co-ordinates, trained multi-lingual field
investigators and supervisors, backed by a national network of experienced
consultants in a variety of disciplines.

providing cost-effective development research, consultancy and capacity
building services and solutions.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES:
The permanent campus of college will become operational from
a two-acre site at the Jigani Industrial Area, on the way to the Electronics
City, about 35 km from Bangalore city centre.
The campus comprises the academic block, students'
residential block, and library. Covering a total built-up area of about 45,000
sq. ft. The academic block consists of management training halls, staff,
faculty & executive halls, an atrium with wi-fi facilities and other modern
amenities. The library is well-stocked with technical books & periodicals
and offers both reference and referral services.
