BDS- Age Applicant should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete age on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission to the Dental course. Date of Birth recorded in High School/ ICSE or its equivalent certificate will be taken as accepted.

Qualification- The candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 examination i.e. I.C.S.E/ Intermediate examination or its equivalent comprising of a curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from the recognized board or University. The candidate must have passed in all the above subjects and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together in the qualifying examination. Number of attempts to pass the qualifying examination and improvements for all the courses coming under medicine will be adopted as per the latest Government Orders in force.
Age Limit - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on December 31st of the year of admission. Age shall be determined based only on the date of birth as given in SSLC / HSC or an equivalent examination certificate.
In addition to the requirements mentioned above the qualifying criteria assessed through common entrance examination conducted by Meenakshi University shall be followed.

Eligibility Criteria
A) Candidate will be eligible for appearing in the MDS Course if he/she:
Has passed the BDS examination with 50% from any Dental College/ institution recognized by the Dental Council of India
Has completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotating paid Internship from colleges recognized by the Dental Council of India on or before 31st March.
