The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program is a five year course, Approved by Dental Council of India Affiliated to Meenakshi University.

ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY
BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Eligibility for BDS Candidates seeking admission to the 1year BDS degree course shall satisfy the following requirements:
A pass in HSC Examination ( 10+2 curriculam of the Government of Tamilnadu) or A pass in any examination of any university or authority accepted as equivalent to the above qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects.
Number of attempts to pass the qualifying examination and improvements for all the courses coming under medicine will be adopted as per the latest Government Orders in force.
Age Limit - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on December 31st of the year of admission. Age shall be determined based only on the date of birth as given in SSLC / HSC or an equivalent examination certificate.
In addition to the requirements mentioned above the qualifying criteria assessed through common entrance examination conducted by Meenakshi University shall be followed.
MDS - Master of Dental Surgery
Eligibility for MDS Candidates seeking admission to the 3 year MDS degree course shall satisfy the following requirements:
BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - obtained from a college recognized by the dental council of India.
