The Oxford College of
Pharmacy, Bangalore was founded in the year 1992 is one of the flagships of
Oxford Group of Institutions, managed by Children’s Education Society. The pharmacy college is recognized by the Government of Karnataka, associated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and Drug Control Board, Karnataka respectively.
The college is modelled to provide scholarly environment to the students with strong industrial links.
The pharmacy college is approved by A.I.C.T.E and
Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The college is certified by National
Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm):
Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) is a post-graduate academic
degree in the field of pharmacy. Since pharmaceutical industry is growing at a
rapid pace, more and more colleges are coming up as standalone institutes for
higher education in the field of pharmacy.
Master of Pharmacy is a two years course. Master of Pharmacy
mainly deals with preparing, distributing as well as providing advice on
appropriate usage of medication for achieving optimal outcomes. Subjects
studied under pharmacy are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry,
Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
