MBBS or Bachelor of
Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is a professional degree which is conferred by
the medical schools and colleges in India. Though the name of the degree
indicates that these are two different degrees, they are considered as one
degree and conferred jointly.
The duration of the MBBS
course is 4.5 years. After completing this, the students need to undergo a
Mandatory Rotating Residential Internship which takes 12 months.
