Mamata Dental College is a recognized Dental College with 100 admissions. It was established in 2001 as an offshoot of Mamata Educational Society, Khammam established with a mission to serve the rural and urban people of Khammam and neighboring districts with dental health facilities with special focus on tribal community.
The College works as a single structural and functional unit with mutual cooperation of all its constituents and delivers a modern integrated BDS program and MDS program.
Our students master a rigorous program and superbly equipped to meet the challenges that they’ll face as dental professionals head on. The Institution creates a friendly atmosphere in which male and female students from different communities and backgrounds practice religious tolerance as well as mutual cooperation to achieve common goals.
The College is committed to inculcating positive virtues of discipline, moral commitment and accountability. Curricular and extracurricular activities, sports combined with moral and ethical values are inculcated among the students to equip them with value based and globally comparable skills.
The Alumni association which is just two years old is yet to come out in a big way in associating with the institutional activities.

COURSES AND ADMISSION
Admission procedure for BDS course
Eligibility Criteria for BDS Course under Management Quota:
1.The candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission to the B.D.S course.
2. The candidate should pass the qualifying examination as under:
The higher secondary examination or the Indian school certificate examination which is equivalent to 10+2 higher secondary examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics , Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by National council for Educational research and training after the introduction of 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National committee on education.
OR
The intermediate examination in the science of an Indian university/Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which should include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
OR
Any other examination equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board.
Admission procedure for MDS course
Seat availability by specialty:

50% of the seats will be filled by university authorities based on rank in the qualifying entrance examination and the remaining will be filled by the management.
Eligibility Criteria for M.D.S Course: The applicant for admission to the Postgraduate degree in Dental Surgery MUST have a BDS degree of a University established or incorporated by/or under a Central Act or a State Act or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and MUST have permanent registration with any State Dental Council.
