Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

In the year 1995, Maharaji Educational Trust received, a formal letter of intent, to set up a private medical college in the name and style of Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

It initially in the year 1995 commenced functioning with permission of the Central Government to admit 50 students annually The first batch of students received their recognized MBBS Degree in the year 2000 awarded by the Ch.Charan Singh University, Meerut.

From the year 2005-06 onwards the Central Government granted permission for increase of seats from 50 to 100 in MBBS Degree course. The annual renewal permission is received every year.

VISION: Vision of Dr.P.Mahalingam, Founder & Chancellor of Santosh University, brought into existence the "Maharaji Education Trust" in the year 1993. The Trust took the onus of imparting quality medical, Dental, Para Medical and Paradental Education to a wide range of health professionals, bio-medical scientists and other health related personnel through its Medical, Dental, Paramedical and Paradental colleges in Chennai and Ghaziabad. All the colleges are supported by on campus super specialty teaching hospitals.

MISSION: Santosh University is an institution of higher learning, with a triple mission of education, service, and research. In addition to offering degrees in Medicine, Dentistry. The University provides an environment for learning and discovery through education of health care professionals and bio-medical students, research in health science and comprehensive health care.
