JSS Medical College MBBS Admission 2014

JSS Medical College, is located in a sprawling 43 acre campus in Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagara, Mysore City, which is about 140 Km from Bangalore. A candidate desirous for admission to various Undergraduate (UG) program at the constituent colleges of JSS University (JSSU) is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the university for consideration of admission.

• A candidate is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit the same to the University on or before the scheduled date. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- for Undergraduate (UG) programs by way of DD only favouring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore along with the documents as listed in the application.
• Candidates may also obtain by post the application form along with the Brochure by sending a processing fee of Rs.2,100/- for Undergraduate (UG) programs by way of DD favouring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore. After obtaining the application from the University candidates may send filled application form to the University address on or before the scheduled date along with documents listed in application.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate seeking admission to MBBS courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School / Colleges in India / Abroad after 12 years of study.
• The candidate should have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations i.e. PUC II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40%.
• The candidate should also have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the JSSU Enterance Test and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40% for admission to MBBS course.

MAH CET 2014 MBA MMS Entrance Exam

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, has announced MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014 examination dates. MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014 is conducted for MBA/MMS courses admissions across the state.

According to the DTE notification, around 85% seats in state government and aided MBA / MMS institutes in the state, 65% seats at private unaided and minority institutes will be filled through the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014.

Remaining 15% seats will be filled through all India quota.

According to the notification issued by the DTE, "Candidates seeking admissions to MBA/MMS courses for the year 2014-15, have to appear in MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014 examination." MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014 examination will be held from 15th to 16th March.

In 2012, admissions to the MBA institutes in the Maharashtra were carried out on the basis of Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

MAH CET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. MAH CET 2014 Exam Pattern:
The MAH CET 2014 Exam will be held in an online format. The duration is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. There are 200 questions asked from 5 different areas including Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation/Data Sufficiency and Reasoning.

KMC Manipal Medical Admission 2014

Kasturba Medical College (KMC) is a medical college based in Manipal, Udupi District Karnataka, India.

Established by Dr T.M.A. Pai on 30th June, 1953, KMC was the first private sector medical college in India. The college started with only the pre-clinical section at Manipal and the students had to go to Mangalore for their clinical training. With the clinical program commenced at Manipal in 1969 with the setting up of Kasturba Hospital, it became a full-fledged independent college and Mangalore becoming a separate constituent college, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore.

KMC Manipal ranks among the top 10 medical colleges in India today. Students from 44 countries have graduated from KMC, and the medical degree (MBBS) is recognized worldwide, including by the General Medical Council and ECFMG.

KIMS Bangalore MBBS Admission 2014

Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) was established in 1980 by the Vokkaligara Sangha.
The Vokkaligara Sangha took a formal decision on 2nd September, 1979 to start a medical college from the year 1980–81 and applied for permission to the registrar, Bangalore University.

On 30th November, 1980 the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri. R Gundu Rao laid the foundation stone of the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital in the premises of the Sangha and announced the grant of vacant land in Banashankari to be used for the construction of college building and hostels. Thereafter, the Sangha appointed Dr M Basavaraju, professor of Physiology as the principal on 1st January, 1981 and other staff by March 1981 and classes were started regularly from 16 March, 1981. Since then 16th March is observed every year as KIMS Day.

The Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Institute was held in 2006. A magnificent college building to mark the centenary celebrations of the Vokkaligara Sangha and the Silver Jubilee of KIMS has been built at the Banashankari Campus.
